I am a creative writer of short stories, as well as an experienced editor and literature/writing tutor. I have two BAs from Virginia Commonwealth University; in English and International Studies. I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, during the Islamic revolution of '79, and the war between Iran and Iraq. On my way to the U.S., I spent 4 years in Tanzania, where I learned English at The International School of Tanganyka.I became a U.S. citizen in 2008, and have lived in Virginia, Ohio, and a few other states.
