• Responsible for ensuring secure Information Technology (IT) for NASA's Gateway vehicle, enabling solutions with software engineering, systems engineering, and project management.• Work with highly skilled aerospace engineers on design and build of systems and software that ensures security of data and systems for spaceflight, using modern IT architectures and industry best practices. • Work with Gateway Program engineering and development teams, analyzing threats for Gateway vehicle software and integrated systems, including planning, research, design, development, test and evaluation, and project management.• Provide oversight and monitor contracts for computer engineers to perform various duties to incorporate new technologies, improve reliability, manage integration and reduce vulnerabilities for the vehicle.• Perform analytical studies of IT systems including monitoring IT security threats, recommending risk based solutions, and work cyber security activities with vendors and contractors.• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of new and existing security technologies. Work with other departments to implement IT security into work and data flows to ensure compliance and manage risk.• Provide systems security engineering support for the Gateway Program including authority for communications security and key management operations for a cryptographic network.
