My Journey,My core expertise lies in the overall P&L responsibility and managing business for optimum performance that is driven through value addition. I started my career with ICI Pakistan Ltd as a Management Trainee and graduated to the role of Sales & Distribution Manager where I managed the Distribution and the Retail Channel, I moved from ICI to 3M Pakistan where I was given the responsibility to manage the Safety, Security,Electrical & Telecom businesses which included exposure to manage not only the commercial part but the Supply Chain aspect of the business as well.The next learning opportunity came with Microsoft where I was heading the strategy division for Pakistan and was a core member for driving strategy for the North Africa, East Mediterranean and Pakistan region. This helped me develop my strategic outlook for business and I was able to formalize short and long term strategies for businessesI rejoined ICI Pakistan as the Head of Sales and over a period of a few years was heading the Sales and Marketing portfolio for the Chemicals Business that included looking after the manufacturing and the trading wing of the Chemicals business. This role also enabled me to manage operations which included all financial, commercial and manufacturing aspects of the business.I moved to Maersk Line as the Head of Commercial for the largest shipping line in the world and this enabled me to get a vast exposure in the logistics and supply chain field.My last 4 years have been with KE where the dynamics of the business are such that all the Strategic and General business management capabilities are tested on a daily basis and the operational capabilities with respect to people management are tested to the best levels.
