During my undergraduate education, I built a varied foundation in mechanical engineering by studying a variety of engineering orientations which permitted me to experience several varieties of mechanical engineering sciences. By this time, however, I was specifically oriented away and to specialize in energy conversion, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. In my graduate studies, I focused on energy technologies and energy systems development based on my interest and even published articles but also sparked my interest in other more research oriented fields of interest.As a researcher and engineer, I enjoy the experience of a challenge to conquer and successfully overcome problems that are a fundamental part of the profession.
