I am a research scientist: a problem solver, with a main expertise is optics & photonics. I am also highly passionate about learning, in any areas of physics and mathematics. My PhD experience was unique, as I got the chance to get experience in quite diverse areas, ranging from integrated photonics & fiber-based systems to free-space optics, interferometry, and laser science. I have published more 25 conference/journal papers for my PhD work.Caltech was my first post-graduation job where I was successful in building a very novel system based on speckle interferometry for achieving brain activity detection.In Viavi - my first industry job - I implemented a very generalized algorithm for designing diffractive/refractive optical elements, which has been very vital in delivering optical parts to many major customers (10+). In each step of the in my career, I experienced very different fields with significant success stories, and that has given me a great confidence that I will become successful in any field if I love it.
