I have lived in the US for over 15 years, I started working at Pizza Hut after graduating from Brandeis High School in 2012, while attending Northwest Vista College to pursue a degree in mathematics. After two years of service at Pizza Hut (as a manager), I decided to experience other employment opportunities to expand my horizons and learn about various working environments, therefore, I started working at Nielsen (Scarborough Research) as an interviewer in the call center, where I needed to call different areas of United States to take customers through a survey regarding their TV watching and radio listening habits. I also worked at J-Crew's call center as customer support. Once I started more advanced courses at NVC during the fall of 2015, I was offered a job as a math tutor, which I carried on for several years while working as a tutor for UTSA, and Mathnasium. My job at UTSA as a tutor was specifically for students planning to transfer from community college to UTSA. At Mathnasium, however, I worked with students attending grade school, where I helped them with critical thinking, challenging math problems, and in the case of high school seniors, p them for ACT/SAT and TSI (placement exams). In 2019, I was recruited by Alamo Colleges' math department as a Supplemental Instructor, where I attended classes with students at NVC and held office hours to help with their progress in classes.My position as a supplemental instructor was dissolved at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, due to funding issues, hence by employee recommendations I was immediately hired by San Antonio College as a math tutor; a position that I am currently holding. When I began working at San Antonio College, I had earned my Bachelor's degree in mathematics, started working on my master's degree in pure mathematics and managed to earn my master's in December 2023.
