From working alongside world-class musicians in world-class studios, to sharing the stage with folks like Tom Paxton and Dar Williams, hosting community song circles, facilitating strategy discussions among nonprofit leaders, training emerging leaders on fundraising and strategy skills, and now building community in Issaquah through the arts...it's been a wild ride. And we are just now getting started.Today you can find Ali at Happy Time Studio in downtown Issaquah - teaching music, providing opportunities for other teaching artists to build a practice, producing live shows and community wide arts events, helping small businesses and nonprofits achieve their goals, and running a small fine arts gallery. In all her efforts, Ali works to put something new and better in the world that wasn't there before. Ali is a driven, hardworking entrepreneur with a superlative attention to detail and excellence. She brings a deep curiosity to her work and expects the same from her collaborators and colleagues. With a creative spirit and a resourceful approach, she works hard to build the leadership qualities of those around her. With significant and often overlapping experience in management, finance, consulting, fundraising, business development, strategic planning, coaching, writing, editing, songwriting, audio engineering and production, musical performance, and teaching, in the nonprofit sector (14 years), small business (20 years) and the music industry (25 years), Ali is a creative individual who thrives when her brain is working on a good puzzle.
