I currently work as an ST1 in [Surgery] at Basra Teaching Hospital in Iraq. - Experience: I have recent experience of 12 months working in Surgery and orthopedic , which is why I am experienced in the management of most surgical and orthopedic cases, also I possess resuscitation experience as well as I do have 8 months of working as an SHO in Surgery and orthopedic . Moreover, I have a total of 3 years experience in medicine. I have completed my foundation program.- Skills and Knowledge: I possess excellent communication skills and I have the ability to work in challenging and unpleasant situations as and when required whilst maintaining a strong and resilient mindset. I will always use effective communication skills that are tailored to the situation I am working in and I will use tact, empathy, and persuasion skills as and when required. The skills and qualities I possess include putting patients first in everything I do whilst providing safe, effective, and appropriate treatment and care. I will always follow my training whilst adhering to the NHS working practices and operational procedures. I have good knowledge in IT skills , word , Excel and power point. I have OET with medium scores in all sections .I am fully registered with GMC and i have license to practice, also I passed plab test , and I have MBChB medical degree .I will take MRCS in next few months . I believe that this post provides a perfect opportunity for achieving my goals and helping me build a career in A&E.- Audit skills /teaching : Audits and QIP: I have done an audit "Preoperative routine investigations for surgical patients' ' aiming to Reduce unnecessary preoperative routine investigations. I am able to embrace change positively and adapt to it on a regular basis, as this ensures the NHS is able to provide a consistently high standard of service throughout the year. And I will always take responsibility within my role for maintaining competence through a process of continuous learning, improvement, and development. I also have done a research project ( Early outcome of Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction by soft tissue pure semitendinosus tendon Vs. Hybrid augmented soft tissue graft).I have conducted many teaching sessions, which has given me experience in this area. I have also completed the Oxford Medical Training Teacher Course, which should help me to become proficient in teaching.
