Embracing Duality: A Journey of Impact and CreativityAs I reflect on my professional journey, I am struck by the parallel lives I've lived – one as a dedicated pharmaceutical representative, marketeer and public policy specialist, and the other as a passionate content creator and advocate for change. These two paths have often intersected, shaping the person I am today.My foray into content creation dates back to 1999, a time when digital video editing was just beginning to captivate audiences. From humble beginnings with movie maker and iMovie to mastering various editing tools, I ventured into directing a 20-minute political satirical show played in a lecture hall at the school of Pharmacy that resonated with 2000 pharmacy students. Little did I expect that my creative expression would draw the attention of authorities, leading to a memorable encounter with the Egyptian police yet continued creating the same type of content and dealing with the liabilities that came with it until I left Egypt in 2005.While nurturing my career in the pharmaceutical industry since 2003, the call for societal change during the Egyptian revolution of 2011 propelled me to go back to Egypt and join the masses in the streets. The subsequent events, including the military coup in 2013, presented a pivotal choice – to complete my MBA or launch a YouTube channel to share my knowledge garnered over 15 years of volunteering, political activism, and professional experience.The decision to start the channel sparked a series of impactful milestones, from being recognized as a top influencer by GDI, MIT and WorldPost to collaborating with the UN, YouTube, and international think tanks. Throughout this journey, I've honed my skills in content production – from crafting scripts to editing and social media management supported by a dedicated team of volunteering researchers who share the belief in the impact we bring to our communities.Today, as I look back on this journey, I'm proud of the diverse content I've created – from sketches and podcasts to interviews and vlogs. Equipped with an array of professional-grade equipment, I've embraced the challenge of balancing two contrasting lives – one financially rewarding and the other deeply fulfilling on a personal level.As I embark on this new chapter, I'm eager to explore the potential of monetizing the skills and experiences gained from my content creation journey. It's a shift I've long contemplated, and I'm excited to see where this path leads me.
