As a research associate, I am glad to be part of the MRG and VR Well-Being team at CYENS Centre of Excellence. Also, I am a Ph.D. student and a researcher at GET Lab, the Cyprus University of Technology, Multimedia and Graphic Arts department.My experience and interest include designing and developing serious games with research targets for well-being (physical, psychological, and social), employing extended reality, and monitoring/interactive sensors. Earlier in my professional career, I had the opportunity to work on big and demanding engineering projects, developing my skills and expertise. I have worked in the R&D of an engineering company, where I was responsible for developing monitoring instruments, including sensors and calibration mechanisms. So, primary research, technical design, 3D modeling, and relevant software development were key factors of my duties. My experience in stability and behavioral analysis allowed me to develop my analytical and data analysis skills and practice simulation technologies and interpretation of monitoring data.I find extended reality and interactive 3D environments fascinating. I have never missed an opportunity to use them in order to enrich the projects that I work on.My passion is to continuously improve my skills, both in academic and professional terms, continuously to optimize my work methods and enjoy the journey.
