• Lead the Nutlok design technology on the military JSF F-35 Lift fan engine version (STOVL) to replace safety wire technology • Create and approve prototypes/production models, 2D engineering prints utilizing CATIA software and releasing production prints into Inovia system • Perform stress analysis for high pressure metallic fittings utilizing FEA tools• Organize and participate in DFMEA / PFMEA sessions • Work with program managers thru gate/phase reviews utilizing Strategic Design and Development Processes (SDDP) • Work with manufacturing group to support manufacturing feasibility study, tolerance analysis, tooling capability, and help with make versus buy decisions • Provide assistance to quality engineering with customer’s complaints• Prepare technical presentations and formal engineering reports to internal and external customers post project completion

· Create detailed engineering 2D drawings and 3D models using Auto-CAD13 and mechanical desktop for high-pressure spiral and braided hose fittings· Design fittings for the spiral and braided hoses to meet SAE specifications· Responsible for the testing and qualification of newly designed high- pressure NO- Skive fittings to be assembled with Four and Six wire Spiral hydraulic hoses· Represent the division in the SAE quarterly conferences on the discussion of fitting specifications· Provide and implement engineering SAE specifications, write formal test reports, and prepare PowerPoint presentations to show the status of project progress to internal and external customer
