Complete Management of various Optical Fiber Cable Deployment projects that include Planning, Surveying, BOQ/Cost estimates preparation, Cable lying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of OFC links.(Jazz Sites Integration over 700Km in Central-1 Region)Monitoring of overall Optical network, maintaining optimized traffic matrices across the region with record of updated traffic connectivity & troubleshooting of all Critical and Major Service affecting alarms across the region.Correct localization of fault location, incase of any TXN media failure by interpreting different alarms shown by NMS.Supervision of all activities on LIVE Traffic carrying NE’s such as faulty card replacements or patching for any traffic matrix modification, with proper tagging for quick and easy troubleshooting.Optical Link Budget analysis for all existing links to maintain and improve optimum optical power levels for all line cards & coordination with vendors to improve any degraded optical power level.Routine OSNR analysis for all sensitive DWDM links and maintaining them on levels that ensure least bit errors.Improvement in OSNR through Amplifier Gain adjustment or improvement of transmission media.Power Levels checkup in routine and comparison with previous records for any degradation in Optical Power after a Fiber Cut or Pressure point issue.Patching of Environmental Alarms and preventive check on monthly basis to ensure environmental safety of the equipment as well as to prevent any Power failures, NE Isolation and Ring Failure.Timely Coordination with vendor to ensure an SLA of less than 4 hours against any fiber breakage or media failure.Preventive maintenance & Routine Health checks for varying Voltage Levels, Dust & Humidity conditions, Dust Filter Cleaning etc. For all NE’s within the region.Standalone PAT, Integration and Commissioning activities of SDH, DWDM & OTN nodes against expansion projects.Plan and design the most cost-effective network topology.
