I am part of the development and Construction services division (D&C) at the Royal Commission for Al Ula. I am responsible for all Commercial activities including the Cost and Contracts related to D&C portfolio.

I am part of the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Ministry of Finance (MOF), responsible for all the Cost and Commercial activities including Cost Control and Budgeting related to Al Haramain projects (Makkah and al Madinah). I play a practical role in the promotion of Project Management plans, guidelines, procedures, and standards and implementation of good project management practice, as well as the monitoring of projects.Contributing to the Ministry of Finance programs and projects including construction activities at 3rd Expansion of Holy Mosque & Prophet Mosque in Makkah & Madina and other mega projects worth $70 Bn. performing utilization of results to compare market rates, benchmarks, PMO database, local and international references that resulted in saving $9.5 billion.- Executed proactive approach to identify potential additional costs due to the project delay and low productivity of the contractorMajor Achievements: ~ Established a standard and unified coding structure and numbering system called ‘Haram Class’ that facilitated comparison of contractor prices by integrating each activity, resource, and work breakdown structure that helped accumulating costs and allocating to correct cost accounts that helped performance analysis of budget with actual progress~ Highlighted potential additional costs to employer due to the project delay and low productivity of the contractor; conducted trend analysis, EVM and forecast analysis and identified several unforeseen costs that were not accounted. Presented the impact of increased indirect costs in comparison to direct costs by applying ratio analysis ~ Developed construction cost database handbook for Saudi Arabia as well as UAE~ Achieved reduction of estimated costs of the remaining works of Makkah projects of value more than $ 4,780 million by developing and implementing effective cost control procedures

- Assiduously leading the commercial and construction management activities along with the contract administration for the construction of KFUPM University staffing & professors budgeted around $100 million- Oversaw the quantity measurement tasks, checked the project cost and schedule control, and monitored the subcontractor progress, measurement, and invoicing. Carefully reviewed the claims and variation orders Major Achievements: ~ Successfully achieved a net profit of 17.4% that exceed the target net profit of 10%

- Performed beach profile surveys in order to assess the potential impact of the New Doha Port Project on coastal morphology (Doha / Qatar); surveyed 80 beach profiles on bi-annual basis using a mobile RTK-GPS system to assess the potential impact of the New Doha Port Project on coastal morphology in Collaboration with COWI- Measured and marked property lines and key topographic features; created visual presentations of topographical characteristics using ARCGIS- Gathered, organized, & modeled data for survey reports & presentations.

- Contributed in various environmental aspects of surveying using GPS, GIS and Remote Sensing techniques in addition to Lidar technology- Performed land-use / land-cover studies over several areas in Lebanon, covering deforestation, vegetation, infiltration of water, urban planning and achieving land capability and suitability maps- Supervised construction of 2 buildings in South of Lebanon- Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.- Planned, directed and participated in surveying activities and researching title reports and deeds in preparation of survey instructions- Provided technical and professional engineering support services in design, construction and road engineering
