Negin Mokran Petrochemical Complex is going to be built as a mega petrochemical project in Chabahar free trade zone which is located and established at east chabahar gulf in the vicinity of chabahar port city and Oman Sea and 70 km from Pakistan borders.Chabahar has been chosen as the future third petrochemical hub by Iranian government because its advantage as outstanding strategic position of that region. So it has been chosen as the location for Mokran petrochemical complex.Covering of an area of approximately 1200 hectares, Mokran petrochemical Complex phase-1 consists of 5 high tech GTX plants and one urea plant, plus sections for reserved for construction of additional plants and downstream units.NMPC is in charge of creating the infrastructure (acquiring land, preparation of foundation for the complex), construction of concentrated utility services and construction and development of storage, tanks and terminals. Upon completion of the project, NMPC will manage the distribution of the utility services, the production pipeline, storage, tanks and terminals, as well as managing civil affairs of the complex. The Mokran Petrochemical Park consist of 6 other projects or plants which are going to be built in first phase. After I came back from Australia, I started to work with a company named Gazestan which was partner and business adviser of a German-Austrian company named ILF Consulting Engineers . I was chosen to continue cooperation with ILF on its new desired projects in Iran. They had established a branch here in Iran named ILF Pars Co. starting their activity in the field of Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plants,Water and waste water. My job is to help them for being specified for big scale projects in their relevant fields in Iran. So I’m involved directly to their presentation meetings, preparation of technical & commercial proposals, performing due diligence studies, performing feasibility studies, estimation of various types of detailed technical costs for establishing different types of plants which are mainly in scope of ILF like: methanol, olefin and poly olefin plants in petrochemical complexes, surface and sub-surface facilities for oil & gas gathering and transmission projects, desalination plants, huge pipe line projects (e.g. Iran-Oman gas transmission project), etc.

Petro Pars Operation & Maintenance Company (POMC Co.)Position: Technical Office Manager at SiteProject: South Pars Special Zone Phases 15 & 16 (Gas Refinery), Asalooyeh,Iran. The company was consortium between petro pars Co., from Iran and DAELIM Co., and BBS Co. from Korea. Project was to finish train one of U-101 which was a gas treatment unit. The progress of this unit was more than 95% and as the last remained job, we’re working on this unit to be able to start the final operation of this project on time. ( http://www.pomcak.com/Pages/Introduction.aspx) Responsibilities- Technical Office Manager in construction site of Projects phases 15 & 16 (Gas Refinery), Asalooyeh,Iran.- The project was consortium between Petro Pars Co. from Iran, DAELIM Co. and BBS Co. from South Korea.- Also active as a senior piping engineer responsible for all piping activities in site simultaneously with the position of Technical Office Manager.- Responsible for all technical and engineering activities in construction site for establishment of a new gas refinery in there. - Responsible for closing “Test Packages” as one of the most important remained jobs to finish this unit.- Responsible in other aspects such as installation, welding, supporting, flushing, reinstatement, instrumentation, purging, removing punches, etc.

I was working in this company as a senior piping engineer in an enormous gas refinery establishment project of phase 19 of South Pars gas field with scope of work of Engineering Design and Procurement Services. The main aim of this project was to build a refinery with all of its facilities to obtain 50,000,000 M3/D Treated Gas, 2,210,000 M3/D (1,000,000 T/Y) Ethane (C2), 80,000 BBL/D Gas Condensate, 1,050,000 T/Y Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and 400 T/D Sulfur.I was working in this company as a senior piping engineer in a team with other professional and fully expert piping engineers. The main responsibility of this team as check team of this project was to check all piping engineering activities & documents and making sure all designs, modeling, calculations, isometrics and other piping activities have been done correctly and without any problem to be sent to our contractors in site for implementation. Meanwhile, plus all of these activities I was also responsible for making sure all other key documents (like Line Lists, MTO, PMS, General Hook Up, etc.) are completely impeccable and applicable for construction in site. In Addition, I was responsible for coordinating between Piping Department and other departments like: Process, Safety, Instrument, Civil, Supporting and Stress Analyse.Also we were working on punch categories and preparation of test packages for hydro and pneumatic tests in office and site simultaneously.

- “FST (Fused Silica Tubing) section team leader”. The company is one of the few companies in the world manufacturing very special and high tech GC & LC columns (gas & liquid chromatography columns).This company is known as one of the biggest and most famous international companies in the world in this field and with several branches in all over the world. FST unit was one of the most important units in this company to produce very special micro tubes with pure fused silica and coating them with mixture of some polymers in 3 very special and complicated towers. Knowledge of working with these towers follows complicate rules in all engineering fields like polymer, piping, process, electrical, etc., was very considering these brief description, every year hundreds of industrial and academic international papers issued focused on how to work better and more economic and efficient with these towers. - Responsible for all activities in FST unit including quality, process, material, section employees and production of the unit- Control production of the FST unit plus verification on applicable ways to improve engineering factors influenced on production of unit.

"MEP Co." (Moeen Energy Paya Co.) at that time was one of the most important consulting engineering companies in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical which was active and working as a lead PMC (project management consultant) of Esfahan Refinery Upgrading project to supervise the engineering activities of contractors. The most important engineering contractors which was working beside others like SINOPEC Co. was DAELIM Co. which was a South Korean most famous consulting engineering Companies in the field of oil & gas. At that time I was senior lead piping engineer responsible for administering piping activities of Engineering Department of DAELIM. For performing my duty I spent about an year in Seoul-South Korea, main office of the Company (DAELIM). Some of my technical duties in that company are as follows but not limited to:- Preparation of Tendering and Bulk Material Take Off (MTO) from P&ID's, equipment and piping layouts. - Material requisition (MR) documents for pipes, fittings, valves, strainers, etc.- Preparation of Isometric Drawings consisting Bill of Material (B.O.M) from Piping modeling Software (PDMS)- Preparation of PMS and its related documents like branch tables and its various specifications- Investigation of P&ID's, Layouts, Isometrics and various piping related documents- Travelling to Seoul-South Korea for supervising and confirmation of DAELIM Co. activities in piping discipline as NIOEC's representative and coordinating engineering responsibilities with engineering department of NIOEC in Tehran/Iran.- Responsible as the lead engineer of piping group, to supervise DAELIM (the Korean company) which was responsible for the engineering phase of the most important unit in this project named: “RHU (Residue Hydro Treating Unit)”.

As a Senior Piping Engineer I was working in this company and some of my main duties in this company are as follows but not limited to:- Working in tank field in this project which was including 23 tanks for reserving Gasoline, Kerosene and Gas-Oil, received by main Pipelines and mobile tankers. - Working in Design, Construction and maintenance of additional 20 more tanks which were going to be added to the main 23 tanks, including fixed & Floating Tanks, their related pumps, chemical injection packages, firefighting facilities, Loading and Unloading Systems, etc.- Design and calculation of piping systems including drain systems (closed and open) and their related Piping (underground and above ground), manholes, cache Basins, Valve pits, drain drum pits and their related accessories- Modeling design, calculation, drafting and extracting documents from it (e.g. isometric sheets and piping plans)- Preparation of general plot plan, line list, tie-in list and critical line lists. - Thickness and corrosion allowance calculations of pipe , Reinforcements, pad calculations, Miter Bend Calculations, etc.

In this Company not only I was working as a Piping Engineer but also because of nature of those day's active projects in there, I have to also be working there as a Process and even some times as a Safety Engineer as well. I think it is understandable because primarily I was graduated as a Process Engineer from University in Process and even safety are both based on Process Engineering. Some of my responsibilities in there were as follows but not limited to:- General Arrangement Drawings, Plant drainage systems, layout drawings and preparation of Fabrication Details for piping systems - Investigation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for different parts of piping systems and Evaluation of technical offers for piping components- Preparation of Mechanical clearance for Hydro and Pneumatic tests and Shut down Purposes- Preparation of Nozzle Orientation documents for process Equipment's.Also I was working in some safety engineering fields like HAZOP, Hazard Identification, HAZOP study, Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) and as well as attending in several clarification & kick of meetings with different Vendors In Iran. Some of the main projects, which I was involved in by working for this company are:- Flow lines of Oil Gathering and Transmission, Oil Production Facilities as well as Gas gathering and Injection facilities of Khesht Oil Field.- Payandan Petrochemical Port Harbor Topsides Export Facilities.

- Piping Engineering Design Techniques (Bangalore Institute of Piping Engineering, India)- List of Piping components used in Industries, their introduction and Applications (University of Tehran's engineering article publication)- An international paper published in "Journal of Applied Polymer Science"(an ISI paper) named: "Optimized Formulation of an oxidative Curing System for liquid polysulfide sealants used in fuel tanks by D-optimal design method".This paper was done with guide and supervision of my father Dr.I.Rezaeian who is Full professor and head of polymer engineering group in University of Tehran, Facultyof Engineering.- An international paper published in "Journal of Applied Polymer Science" (an ISI paper) named: "Effects of BaSO4, CaCO3, Kaolin and quartz on the Mechanical, chemical and morphological properties of cast polyurethane". This paper was done with guide and supervision of my father Dr.I.Rezaeian as well- Research project named: "A Technical and Economical Study of urea Fertilizer Coated with Sulfur". Razi Petrochemical Company and their financial support carried out this project- A Selection of Rubber Coating, as an Anti Corrosion Layer for Sulfuric Acid and Phosphoric Acid Reservoir Tanks and their related Piping". This project was carried out upon Razi Petrochemical Company request as well and their Financial support.- An industrial project named: "The use of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) as a Car Underbody Coating".Plastisols (a mixture of PVC and a Plasticizer) are used as car underbody Anti Corrosion Coating. This project was carried out upon Iran Khodro (The largest car manufacturing Company in Iran) request and their financial support.
