I completed a Summer Operations Supervisor Internship with General Motors in Belleville, MI during the summer of 2022. During my internship, I served as a department supervisor for hundreds of United Auto Workers, responsible for maintaining the day-to-day agenda and workforce. My efforts resulted in a 20% increase in efficiency of completed tasks, saving the company thousands of dollars and increasing production.I monitored data updates and implemented optimizations to increase productivity, leading to a reduction of 5+ hours in the weekly workload. I completed a Summer Engineering Internship with ZF North America in Livonia, MI during the summer of 2021. During my internship, I collaborated with a team of 5 engineers to design, construct, and test brake systems for intended manufacturing. I was involved in the entire process, from design to testing, and contributed to the development of innovative brake systems.I also conducted brake system testing that simulated 30 days of extreme weather conditions to assess peak performance. This was a critical aspect of ensuring that the brake systems met industry standards and customer requirements. The testing results were used to make improvements to the brake systems and ensure that they were able to perform under challenging conditions.My internship experience with ZF North America has provided me with a solid foundation in the field of engineering, particularly in the area of brake systems.
