About Ali Sobhani

I have just graduated with an M.Sc. in Marine and Coastal Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. Generally, my academic and research interests include the development and application of advanced numerical modeling techniques for the simulation of ocean currents and wave dynamics.I have ample experience in the analysis of non-directional wave spectra and directional wave spectra, data processing of complex datasets. Besides, gathering critical data on ocean parameters with the help of remote sensing technologies-satellite-based sensors and acoustic instruments-is very important to me.I am looking for an opportunity to pursue a PhD in which I will be able to contribute, through innovation in ocean modeling, wave analysis, and remote sensing, by working in diverse teams towards the advancement of marine science and technology.
