About Ali Souch
Having submitted my PhD exploring "Mothers' exposure to early life adversity and mental health and childbirth related outcomes during the perinatal period" I have developed a wealth of research and academic experience. My research has included participant facing research from a clinical population, and has involved conducting clinical research interviews such as the International Trauma Interview, and the SCID. I have further taught on the undergraduate program, delivering seminars and marking coursework. I have academic papers published and have presented at international conferences.I currently work in the position of Psychosocial Team Lead at New Zealand Red Cross. I coordinate and deliver Psychological First Aid, Mental Health in the Workplace, and suicide awareness courses across New Zealand.
