About Ali Stefancich
I started my career in environmental education because I saw inspiring youth to care about and act on ecological issues as a path towards real change. While I still believe that is true, I also recognize that problems such as climate change and environmental degradation are too pressing to wait for today's youth to fix when they get older. Action must start now. After eight years in EE, I am pivoting to marketing because I see the importance of changing people's and businesses' actions NOW. Companies that are fighting social and environmental action have substantial marketing budgets and experience. My goal is to ensure that organizations working towards good have those same tools in their tool book. I started my journey into marketing by taking a Digital Marketing Bootcamp through UC Davis Extension and plan to use the skills and knowledge I gain in marketing to help grow awareness of and cultivate collective action towards a more environmentally and socially-minded future. I am looking for a position where I can utilize my background in the environmental field and continue to grow my digital marketing skills to help create the change I wish to see in the world.
