• Conducted research into Thermophilic bacteria in spray-dried food powders• Worked with PhD students, researches and professors from The University of Sydney and Quantal Bioscience• The project delved deeper into how thermophilic bacteria are responsible for food spoilage and howthis may correlate to contamination in milk powders and ultimately impact the quality and shelf stabilityof the final product.• Research, findings and data collected were all conducted in a PC2 Laboratory• The project was completed through the analysis of gene sequences and alignments between different genes using bioinformatic software: SnapGene.

• Major project was on 'How mRNA vaccines work'• I had the opportunity to work with alumni from The University of Sydney and professors from Australian National University (ANU)• Involved in giving school and public presentations to general audiences. I spoke with scientists about their findings and how they were able to share and present their findings with the rest of the world. • Privileged that my work was featured during National Science Week.• This organisation selects students who have great communication skills to develop even more exceptional communication skills.
