I am a Banking & Finance graduate from Bahrain Polytechnic with a passion for fintech and crypto. Since October 2021, I have been working as an Operations Associate at Rain, the first licensed cryptocurrency exchange and custodian in the Middle East.At Rain, I handle various tasks related to KYC, KYB, EDD verification, sanction screening, chargeback dispute resolution, and account management. I collaborate with the AML department to report any suspicious activity and work with large datasets for investigation and reporting purposes. I also identified and implemented solutions to improve the name screening procedure, which earned me recognition as the top performer of the team. I have developed a wide skillset in research, project management, and presentation through my previous internships and academic projects. I participated in the CFA Research Challenge and the Bahrain Polytechnic Negotiation Contest, where I won an award for best bargaining skills. I also conducted a study on the consumer behavior towards e-wallets and presented it to The BENEFIT Company, a leading provider of electronic financial services in Bahrain. I am always eager to learn more and enhance my abilities. I am fluent in Arabic and English and have an IELTS score of 7.0. I am also proficient in analytical skills, KYC verification, and SQL.
