I am currently a senior PMO manager at Ofgem, the UK's energy regulator, where I lead the planning and risk management functions for the Markets directorate general. I oversee the delivery of multiple programmes and portfolios, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives, governance frameworks and PMO best practice. This involves ongoing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders along with clear and timely communication, reporting, and escalation of risks and issues.With a background in financial services and a passion for data, I enjoy bringing order to chaos and transforming old and worn out processes by embracing modern tools and technology. I have advanced skills in MS Excel, Power Query, and Power Automate, and I have recently completed a course in SQL and database management. In my spare time, I am also pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Data Science at The Open University, where I am learning how to apply data analysis, machine learning, and visualization techniques to real-world problems.As an experienced project & programme management professional, I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, improving customer and employee experience, and solving complex challenges. Over the past several years, I have earned the P3O® Foundation and Practitioner certifications, as well as the Fundamentals of Risk Management certification, which demonstrate my knowledge and competence in PMO best practices and risk management frameworks.
