Responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Ward Accreditation Programme and Quality Improvement (QI) projects / collaboratives within Corporate Nursing. In addition, support is provided across the full range of office management responsibilities; including identifying issues that require particular attention to avoid escalation and acting as the key conduit for communication between the Ward Accreditation Lead (Corporate Nursing), Head of Patient Safety, Executive Directors, Chairman, Independent Members and colleagues within the Health Board and senior colleagues in NHS organisations, the Welsh Government and other external partners such as Local Authorities, AMs, MPs and Members of the Public as appropriate.

Providing high level administrative support to the Executive and Deputy Director of Nursing.

Providing professional, skilled, and dependable administrative support how and when you need it.

Preparing key data for management, reviewing sales volumes against budget, providing feedback to the general manager, preparing presentations, and attending daily production meetings. Handling daily business issues professionally and confidentially.

Processing of UK and worldwide orders, including arranging shipment of Dangerous Goods (IATA Certified) by land, sea and air. Development and adherence to procedures for the safe storage, packing and labelling of products deemed dangerous goods in line with Hazardous Goods Safety Procedures.

Preparation of production plans and supplier schedules to ensure continuity of production. Expediting of raw materials and component parts from national and international suppliers.
