Leading the delivery of a high quality, professional administrative function within the School of Computer Science.Supporting the Head of School and management team and working with College staff, to shape and influence the strategic direction of the School. Fitness to practice coordinator and liaison/secretary, networking with NHS trusts, Health Education West Midlands, supporting improving student experience and QS ranking. Managing a team of casework officers responsible for the initial investigations of all teachers, who had been dismissed with a view to further investigation by the Legal Team. This involved close working with police, DBS, head teachers, teachers. I read cases and made recommendations as to further action; taking and cases to a initial investigation decisions committee where I was one of three decision makers, following strict criteria and guidelines.I was responsible for managing the investigations budget and reviewed all financial requests and transactions for the associated investigation/administration costs. Staff management including, development , conduct and discipline, performance and all pastoral matters. Responsible for recruitment of caseworkers, support staff and apprentices.

Leading a period of considerable change to introduce new systems and a full restructure to deliver improved, and efficient delivery of operational and quality targets.Managed the Enquiry Centre to ensure all customer service targets were met, including managing and monitoring of complaints and appeals as well as general enquiries. Overseeing the local tax credit system, dealing with all complex and higher rate tax payer correspondence and computations. Managing a caseload for investigation and compliance for PAYE taxpayers. Managing workload allocation and staff dealing with all telephone and written complaints and enquiries.
