Ali currently holds the position of Sr. Program Manager at Meta, where he leads cross-functional privacy reviews for products in Data Science Research & Data Sharing Org.He collaborates closely with product managers on new products and enhancements. Additionally, he partners with various teams across Meta, such as legal, public policy, product marketing, and security to identify potential privacy challenges and work towards consensus-based solutions.Before joining Meta, Ali served as an Manager at Deloitte, specializing in Cyber Risk Strategy and GRC Practice. He earned a Masters degree in Engineering Management and gained prior project experience in India and Malaysia, focusing on Embedded Technologies and Smart Home applications.Being a Senior Member in IEEE, Ali actively engages in leadership and volunteering roles, contributing to the organization's diverse initiatives. He dedicates significant attention to furthering his knowledge in the realm of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Notably, Ali previously contributed to the Go-to-market strategy team at Deloitte AI Institute.Beyond his professional commitments, Ali assumes prominent positions outside of Facebook. He serves as the Co-chair of IEEE Ethically Aligned Design Global Outreach Committee, dedicating himself to fostering knowledge and growth in the area of AI Ethics and Standards.
