In an agile team focused on improving efficiency and collaboration, I introduced Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber and Jira. This shift not only sped up feature delivery but also fostered stronger communication between developers and stakeholders. To streamline testing, I built a Maven-based project with JUnit for assertions, which greatly reduced the burden of test maintenance and eliminated dependency conflicts. I then focused on automating regression tests using Selenium WebDriver and JUnit, which significantly increased test coverage and slashed manual testing efforts, enabling quicker deployment cycles for the policy management system. To further enhance stability, I implemented real-time monitoring with Log4j and Splunk, allowing the team to transition from a reactive to a proactive approach by catching issues early.

I applied a wide range of testing types, including functional, regression, performance, smoke, sanity, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring thorough test coverage across all scenarios. Additionally, I conducted in-depth manual testing of the Freight Management System, identifying and documenting over 150 critical defects, which led to major improvements in system reliability and user experience.
