- Participate in designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to support information and data security needs.- Participate in information security policies and procedures reviews and enforcements.- Ensure security maintenance of network/Internet systems and the implementation of the related information security policies and procedures.- Assess and participate in the review of risks associated with network, web, applications and internet security systems. - Participate in the analysis, recommendation and implementation of preventive and mitigating security measures.- Review and provide recommendations on firewall / network architecture, and web security related systems / applications.- Evaluate information systems security weaknesses (network and software) by enabling vulnerability life cycle (detection, classification, reporting, mitigation, triage and verification).- Monitor and report on intrusions and hacking attempts, and participate in security incident response & handling planning, investigation and mitigation.- Evaluate network updates and participate in related planning to ensure proper attention, design and implementation to security matters.- Promoting human security factor (security awareness presentations & slides)
