I am a certified professional controller (CPC) at a level 11 ARTCC. Along with this role I have worked in the airspace and procedures office at the center learning the behind the scenes work that keeps the system running 24/7/365. I immensely enjoy learning the specifics of airspace and increasing the efficiency of the system with the unique tools the air traffic industry utilizes. I am proficient in the ERAM automation process, ERIDS, SDAT, TARGETS, NAS Quest, RAM view, and SOP/LOA creation.Previously, I worked as an airline dispatcher for Ameriflight as well as a hostess for Great Lakes Airlines. Both these jobs were exciting and fast paced, allowing me to become familiar with the decision making skills and conflict resolution that would later benefit me as a controller. I am alumni from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S in Air Traffic Management and minors in Applied Meteorology and Aeronautical Studies along with receiving my aircraft dispatch certificate. Currently I am back in school to receive a second degree in creative writing to further both my professional and personal writing abilities. In addition to my studies, I have a wide range of extra curricular activities. Outside of work I enjoy playing the flute, LEGO's, writing, gardening, and am an avid reader. I hope to get my private pilots license and have about 25 hours and a solo flight in a C-152. After converting a Ford Transit into a livable camper during the pandemic, me and my parter have started building an aircraft, the RV-10. It is an ambitious but exciting project!I have a lot of interests and skills, and am committed to improving myself in all of them. I love aviation and look forward to meeting and working with people who share that passion.
