• Established and managed 19 strategic partnerships with civil society organizations in nine countries in sub-Saharan Africa to increase financing for universal access to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care via the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM) and the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).• Administered $350,000 grants program to support underrepresented and marginalized constituencies, including women’s groups, sexual and reproductive rights activists, sexual minorities and youth, in advocating for increased access to integrated sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS services and programs.• Partnered with researchers in Zambia and Malawi in a WHO-led initiative to collect and analyze data regarding the impact and efficacy of disease-specific (“vertical”) funding on health systems strengthening.• Designed advocacy campaigns on sexual and reproductive health and rights, pediatric AIDS, children’s well-being, and universal access that attracted more than $2 million in project funding.

Developed successful £5 million proposal for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to increase advocacy skills; build multi-sector, multi-issue coalitions; and utilize the media to ensure governmental responsiveness, accountability, and transparency in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the European Community.

Researched and wrote guide for national IPPF member associations on accessing development assistance for sexual and reproductive health and rights through bilateral and multilateral aid channels, international financial institutions, UN agencies, and private foundations.
