Managing a distributed team of solution architects that had to project and evolve the architecture of all the systems developed by the company.

Leading a team of local solution architects that were mainly responsible for evolving the architecture of all the systems from the "Labour Ministry". Besides that, we were also dealing with some of the social security area systems architectures.

Managing a local team of architects mainly focused on the overall system architecture, but keeping most of the concerns on the software design that was needed to enable an ecosystem of integrated solutions.

As a Software Architect at Dataprev, I have worked with a team that provided IT solutions for the Brazilian government, specifically for the MTE (Ministry of Labour and Employment) and for the Social Security area. We were responsible for some architectural decisions that affect the systems we developed.Basically, we were developing on the top of JEE stack, which means that we coped with the architectural subjects related to the technologies encompassed by JEE specification. Besides that, we were also working with some other web related technologies, which offered means of providing client-side and mobile solutions.

This is basically the same position I was performing at the former institution. In fact, the Unibratec unit at my city became Faculdade iDEZ, which became Faculdade Estacio afterwards. There, I was focused on teaching web development technologies (Java EE full Stack and HTML/CSS/Javascript), but also some other development related subjects like Software Engineering, Systems Architecture and Advanced Algorithms, both on graduate and postgraduate courses.Also, I was responsible for coordinating some postgraduate courses, for almost five years (2010-2014), which were: (i) Web Development, (ii) Mobile Development, and (iii) Java Development;

This was my first professional experience as a teacher. At that time, I was responsible for two disciplines, which were: (i) Distributed Systems Developement and (ii) Operating Systems for the Software Developer.In fact, that was a short duration higher education course (2,5 years) in which students were focused on learning technologies and developing software with high quality. As I started working there, I had a good surprise to find so many good students.
