12-month contract at SEQENS Custom Specialties, formerly Chemoxy International Ltd. Worked across 2 Upper Tier COMAH sites in Middlesbrough and Billingham, with a focus on project engineering and process development.Examples of my work include:• Leading the multifunctional Minor Engineering team, successfully overseeing the front-endengineering design and implementation of 8 CAPEX projects, within budget and schedule.• Holding responsibility for £50k CAPEX, having converted a storage tank into a temporary reactor by learning the theory behind, designing and implementing a jet mixer to it within a 2-week window.• Increasing uptake of a new digital system for submitting documents by delivering formal training sessions to process operators. • Modelling a reactor cooling system in Excel, facilitating a feasibility study of a process in the R&D stage. Presenting this model in a report to upper management, inspiring confidence that the process was technically feasible.
