During my time the Geodetic Engineering Laboratory I used Solidworks together with a 3-axes CNC Machine to design a casing for stereoscopic data acquisition on a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, containing all electronics, cameras and the Raspberry Pi Computer for storing the pictures and sending to the ground via a WIFI stick. The task involved CAD design and CNC machining.
