I have recently completed my degree in Animal Science at CCCU in June. Through out my course I maintained a part - time job in a local pub and then a local bakery, whilst also allowing time to focus on my studies, social events, volunteer roles and work experience to build up a strong CV upon graduation. I also focused on gaining experience in my prospective field, by gaining hands on experiences with animals at stables and veterinary practices. Not only was this advantageous to my future career, but it also reminded me of why I chose my degree and the enjoyment I get from being involved within an animal care environment.
