Beverly serves on boards of public (Bank OZK NASDAQ: "OZK") and private PE companies, as an Advisor to affordable housing and real estate developers and funds, and as an advisor to cybersecurity company, and real estate companies, and on the SBA's Investment Capital Advisory Committee (ICAC). Her collaborative team building spirit is beneficial with public, private, non-profits and medical (wellness) institutions. Her strengths include asking questions and assisting management in setting strategic direction, to grow revenues, to navigate regulatory risks, while reducing costs. Her prior corporate experiences In real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), manufacturing, in food, entertainment and venture capital sectors, allow her to bring broad experiential background. She participated in work-out and turn-around, pre IPO, corporate matters. With a collaborative team, she implemented global third party SaaS systems.She serves on enterprise risk management committees, shareholder litigation, banking, community investment committees, and serves as an Advisor and as Investment Chair of private venture funds. Her past public service included serving on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Economic Advisory Council and as a State Commissioner and on the State's Insurance Task force board.Her non-profit board experiences include NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter, (Nom/Gov Committee), Private Directors Association and she was chosen to attend Think Tank Renaissance Weekend. She was appointed to "100 Global Women", a Think Tank, as an expert in logistics, strategic sourcing, and packaging, shipping opportunities. She has served on a Medical School Board. She was appointed by Secretary of Interior to the National Park Foundation (NPF).Beverly has an MBA from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School; JD from Fordham University; Certificate from Stanford’s Directors’ College; and earned a Cybersecurity Certification from NACD. She heads her family's non-profit HIA&J Inc and real estate management company. Beverly has authored various thought articles and speaks on various topics. She was a keynote Speaker to a University in India, where she talked about medicine and AI.Beverly is open to board or advisory service on public, private and family owned companies with international reach.
