Includes: - overseeing a team of lifeguards and swim instructors - providing lead supervision of lifeguards, as well as the selection and scheduling of lifeguards and swim instructors- giving instructions in pool operating procedures, rules, safety practices and maintenance- ensuring the safety, security and orderliness of up to 60 swimmers at a time- using first aid and lifesaving skills when necessary- organizing aquatics programming and swimming lessons- teaching swimmers of a variety of skill levels and ages- creating detailed lesson plans to maximize efficiency and learning during swimming lessons
