The Arrupe program engages with students through the Experiential Learning for Social Justice (ELSJ) core requirement. We partner with local community organizations whose members and clients serve as co-educators for Santa Clara University students. Arrupe Student Assistants work to create a community-based learning environment through intentional interaction and relationships. Under the supervision of the Program Directors for Arrupe Engagement, student assistants will provide Arrupe placement oversight, support Arrupe students, communicate with site-supervisors and faculty, and provide administrative support for the Arrupe program. Additionally, I managed daily metrics, articulated their significance to senior leadership, and assisted associates with various HR-related issues. I provided support to associates, addressing issues related to benefits, time cards, leave, and other living resources. The Ignatian Fellowship is a program through Santa Clara University that allows me to work with the College of Adaptive Arts as a teachers assistant in 4 courses. The College of Adaptive Arts is a college for people with intellectual disabilities.
