Another part of my role is to work with male and female offenders who have been referred to us through Criminal Justice to complete some offence focused work which is usually a 12 week programme covering areas of need e.g. substance misuse, Cycle of change, anger management, victim awareness and alcohol awareness to name but a few of the areas. My duties included supporting other team member to achieve the best they can and feel motivated in their job roles. Supporting our service users to achieve their own personal goals and to make sure that their personal needs as well as group needs were being listened to and acted upon. My duties include support elderly clients to maintain as much independently as possible within their own homes. I assisted with personal care and dressing as well as making sure they remembered to take their medication on time as well as making sure they were having their meals on time. I also provided a listening support to family members.

Supporting male and female victims of domestic abuse and violence to regain their confidence and self esteem enabling them to move on to a safer and more secure future. Part of my role was also to handle phone calls from clients when required.
