I have always had a passion for event management, fundraising and strategic communications. In my current role as ‘Global Programmes Coordinator’ for Gentrack I have been at the forefront of executing and organising diverse global initiatives. I have had a strong impact on our sustainability program and events, covering relevant regional activity on our socials and maintaining our team’s consistency across all corporate collaterals. I also support our EMEA marketing team where I can, especially with their corporate event management making sure we send our team to each event with everything needed to succeed. Each day, my role differs, and I enjoy the dynamic changes when I can challenge myself in new ways. Previously, I was a PR & Communications Apprentice for Limejump, where I received a Distinction in my L4 PR & Communications Apprenticeship with Cambridge Marketing College. My Apprenticeship is where I started to gain the experience and knowledge for multi-channel PR campaigns and event management in the Renewable Energy Sector. I excelled in planning and organising events, managing event packs, attendees, social media and presenting analysis reports. This experience gave me the confidence and leadership skills to pursue and further my career in events and impactful communications. In my personal life I volunteer weekly at my local Scout troop as a Scout Leader. As a part of this role I head up the fundraising team where we recently hosted a very successful 80’s disco event. I led the event, producing the communications and social posts to attract the right audience. I also enjoyed organising the rest of the team to work out theming, venue, decorations and health and safety risks. I also bi-annually I help to produce a Scout Gangshow, where I devise the marketing for the event to the relevant audiences. I have recently served as a Trustee for a charity helping to raise nearly £2 million to save and purchase an 86-acre activity centre and campsite for young people with a focus on mental health.Highly organised and detail-driven, I bring enthusiasm and a proactive attitude to every event and project. Whether coordinating corporate events or community initiatives, I am dedicated to fostering engagement and delivering meaningful results.
