As Herrera's Water Practice Director, I have the privilege of leading business development, project delivery, and staff development for a team of talented engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects. Together we deliver innovative water resource science, planning, and design projects up and down the west coast.My technical focus is sustainable stormwater management and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI). Since 2005, I've worked with progressive jurisdictions to develop GSI policies, programs, engineering standards, and design tools that reflect the latest science and engineering advances. My recent project portfolio centers on integrated system planning and the optimization of green and gray approaches to stormwater and CSO management with an eye towards resiliency, community benefits, and equity.

I was honored to be selected by the Department of Ecology to sit on the LID Technical Advisory Committee to develop western Washington’s LID requirements and support the update to the “LID Technical Guidance Manual for Puget Sound.”
