Through my research experience in France and the USA, I have gained expertise in innate immunity, virology, mitochondrial biology and neurodegeneration.I managed projects on the interaction of the adaptive immune system with tumors and the innate immune system with viruses and bacteria. I then established collaborations to instigate a project on the role of metabolic dysfunction on brain damage in neurodegenerative diseases.Since 2018, I have managed a small research team studying autoinflammation caused by abnormal activation of the innate immune system by components of the self.I am also passionate about transmitting scientific knowledge in academic and policy contexts. Along my professional experience, I took advantage of opportunities to improve my communication and teaching skills. My wish is to lead scientific research projects, combining the expertise of academic and private sectors, to better understand, diagnose and treat autoinflammatory diseases.
