As a communications professional, I’ve played both sides of the fence. Starting as a TV reporter, I learned the art of storytelling and journalism before becoming a public relations specialist in media/fashion environments for 8+ years. Being a storyteller at heart, I am passionate about finding creative ways to connect brands and their audience. As a PR specialist, I have helped develop and execute communications plans to achieve business goals. I also manage a team of communication specialists who work on various accounts. In my role, I often collaborate with account managers, creatives, and media teams to ensure our client's messages are effectively communicated to their target audiences.Some examples include:-Led a six-month marketing campaign for a Chinese interior design company to enhance its image, which led to two international clients and five local and national media coverages. -Put together a social media team of 5 to create cross-platform programs and developed custom solutions for fashion brands and worked at a strategic level, resulting in improved traffic growth by 30,000 visitors (900%) during the 7-day activation period and increased sales by 80% through strategic advertisements.-Managed six clients from different time zones simultaneously, including running calls, organizing documents, and overseeing day-to-day activities. -Developed campaign strategies, wrote press releases, and conducted proactive and reactive pitching to enhance coverage placements by 200% YoY. -Led as communications & PR chair at business organizations.
