This role includes:- Managing all aspects of training delivered on a national basis from enquiries to delivery including Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)- Increasing awareness of PAPYRUS amongst prospective trainees- Product development- Evaluation - Strategic planning- Marketing including website development and social media - National business development - Conference speaking- Workshop facilitation and delivery - Delivering ASIST, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training- Project management - Developing and maintaining external partnerships- Budget management- Staff management - Associate trainer recruitment and management - Media interviews

- Part of my role involves working on PAPYRUS' helpline "HOPELineUK" which provides a telephone, SMS and email service. This entails:- Supporting, advising and signposting young people who may be at risk of suicide as well as those who are supporting them (relative, friend, colleague, teacher etc) - Adhering to confidentiality procedures, caller-care plans, etcThe second main role of my job involves delivering training around the UK to:- Young people- Those who work with young peopleThis training focuses on reducing stigma, informing participants of warning and behavioural signs to look out for, promoting sources of help, and encouraging development of resilience.Other job roles include: - Producing resources for families and professionals.- Promoting Mental Health and emotional wellbeing- Supporting and developing research- Writing newsletter articles
