https://childwitness.com/ Fostering Healing, Hope And Wellbeing. We provide support, education and advocacy for children and youth who are or may become victims or witnesses of abuse or crime. Our mission is to provide court preparation, court accompaniment, advocacy and support for children and youth who are victims or witnesses of crime. We offer three primary programs, the Child Witness Program, the Youth Symposium and our newest offering the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC). The CYAC is an evidence informed model for investigation and support of kids who disclose child abuse or are affected by abuse. We offer this program working together with key community partners - Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS), Family and Children's Services (FACS) of the Waterloo Region, Office of the Crown Attorney, the Sexual Assault /Domestic Violence Treatment Centre (SA/DVTC) through St. Mary's Hospital and Lutherwood.
