Flock boasts the largest range of event lounge furniture in the country.Music:Born and raised in Hastings, New Zealand, Alice gained her ATCL and LTCL on violin by aged 18. Switching to viola in 2011, Alice completed her Bachelor degree at the New Zealand School of Music under NZSQ violist, Gillian Ansell. She graduated her Artist Diploma as a scholarship recipient from the Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School under internationally renowned violist Steven Dann. Alice has been the sub-principal and principal violist of major youth orchestras of NZ including the NZSO National Youth Orchestra for three seasons. Alice has played with the internationally recognised New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 2012, playing full-time in 2014 before commencing her studies in Canada. She has also performed with Orchestra Wellington, Southern Sinfonia and the Auckland Philharmonia. She recently returned to New Zealand to perform as a guest soloist with the Hawkes Bay Orchestra and Concord Strings, orchestras she has performed as a soloist and section player in previous years. She has played several recitals as part of the St Andrew's series and was a finalist in the NZ School of Music Concerto Competition. Alice has worked with violists such as Kim Kashkashian, Ettore Causa, Gerald Stanick and Hsin-Yun Huang. Her NZ based quartet Quadrivium, was part of the Adam International Chamber Music Festival (NZ) and the Canberra International Music Festival (AUS) and has given recitals in New Zealand, Australia and Canada. Alice was the winner of the Dame Malvina Major Excellence Award in 2014.
