In spring, I teach Introduction to Children's Literature. From 2013-2015 I served as a literacy parapro at an elementary school in the school district where I live (Asbury Elementary School, Groveport-Madison Schools). I worked with students in grades 3, 4, and 5, supporting their progress as readers as well as their enjoyment in reading. From this experience, I volunteered to tutor one of my 5th grade students outside the school and have continued to do so for the past two years.
