Occupational Hygienist with a keen interest in undertaking health risk assessments at industrial worksites to improve worker health outcomes. Experienced in a range of work sites including waste/recycling facilities, fabrication/maintenance workshops, quarries, manufacturing, railways, saw mills, horticulture, transport, laboratories.Key areas of impact include: Project management: Substantial experience running various sized projects from start to finish. Largest project lead included 10 different stakeholders with over 200 samples collected over a month. Collecting quality exposure data: Keeping up to date with new sampling and analytical techniques to provide confidence in health risk assessments. Problem solving: Working closely with businesses and workers on the ground to provide fit for purpose effective solutions to health risks.Education: Breaking down the scientific jargon to clearly communicate ideas and increase the awareness of health risks on work sites.
