Provides leadership in the management of the B Corp programme and associated team (internal and external), ensuring that processes are in place to keep it on track with clear roles, timelines, resource requirements and strong information flows between all parties. Based on results of the existing programme, oversee development of a prototype programme that can be repeated cost-effectively across multiple cohorts, with a curriculum and preferred service providers. Adapt the programme based on findings and research about the factors that drive behaviour change. Determine what is measured and capture relevant data to provide insights and the desired outcomes. Ensure all necessary internal and external reporting is relevant and suitable, provides regular updates on progress and lessons for the improvement of the programme. Determine resource, information and skills needs and manage the relationship with service providers from determining the scope of work, contracting, oversight and finalisation of engagements. Plan and oversee the execution of events/activities, manage project teams, build relationships across the projects and ensure strong flow of shared information between all parties. Develop the long-term strategy for the programme and its financial viability. Develop a structure for the administration and management of the grant component of the B-Corp programme.

Serves as the lead specialist supporting the Project Director in developing and maintaining strategic partnership with public, private sector and civil society organizations. Facilitated a market feasibility into the development of two financial products by Republic Bank for youth in the construction sector. Played a leadership role in the development of formal partnerships with 13 public sector, 18 private sector institutions and 3 construction sector trade associations. This facilitates the easy mobilization of youth on the YIEDIE Project and reliable sources of job opportunities for the 23700 youth targeted by the Project. Led the capacity assessment and development of partnerships with 22 Technical Vocational Education and Training Institutions (TVETs) to provide training to over 12800 youth in the construction sector. Supervises and provides guidance to 16 partner organizations in relation to business development initiatives and strategies for creating employment opportunities for youth in the construction sector. Serves as the lead and administrator of a total Grant Fund of up to US$390,000 for the establishment of over 300 youth businesses in the construction sector. Provides leadership in contract development for short-term Project implementing partners within a total budget of US$2,000,000 for youth training. Plays a lead role in enhancing collaborative relationships among partner organizations to promote economic diversification among Small-to-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and enhance entrepreneurship development by increasing opportunities for SMEs and entrepreneurs in the construction sector. Provides support for the Project Director to achieve Project objectives within the Project budget. Provides weekly and monthly reports as well as quarterly and annual Donor reports.

Facilitated engagement with local government institutions to enhance democratic governance at the grassroots. Provided support in the development and prioritization of community development plans for 24 project communities in Accra Metropolis and the integration of such plans in the development plans of Accra Metropolitan Assembly. Served as the lead in building the capacity of community based organizations to write proposals leading to the award of grants for the implementation of 30 development projects in 20 slum communities in Accra. Led in the administration and management of a grant fund of up to US$60,000 for the implementation of community development projects in Accra and Sekondi Takoradi Metropolises. Facilitated the development of Revenue Improvement Action Plans for Accra Metropolitan Assembly and Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly for 3 years running (2012-2015) leading to significant increases in the internally generated funds of both Assemblies. Facilitated the organization of training workshops on inclusive governance and planning and budgeting for 180 assembly members, unit committee members and community-based organizations from 24 project communities in Accra Metropolis. Provided technical advice and monitoring for the implementation of deliverables by NGO Partners as per their sub-grant agreements to ensure the full achievement of the deliverables and submits weekly and monthly reports of the project performance to the Project Director.

Provided technical guidance for the smooth commencement of health and safety training package for 1000 youth in scrap metal business. Developed, evaluated and managed 10 partner sub-grant and contract agreements. Monitored the implementation of deliverables by NGO Partners and amended their sub-grants to ensure the full achievement of the deliverables. Provided technical advice to Republic Bank, which resulted in the development of two youth inclusive microfinance products to cater for the financial service needs of youth in the working class. Worked with 15 SMEs to develop business proposals to market their enterprises and seek financial support from Banks – 3 such SMEs received financial support to buy KIA Trucks valued at GH¢70,000 per Truck. Reports regularly on the status of Partner sub-grants and performance of Global Communities interventions to management and Donors. Worked with 15 youth to develop their microenterprises through sound business practices. Contributed to the development of an end of Project evaluation report for the YES Project.

Provided support in the conduct of a baseline survey into the impact of climate change in citrus production in the Eastern Region, which led to the introduction of appropriate varieties and adaptation strategies for FBOs. Carried out a successful negotiation with two financial institutions (Opportunity International Savings and Loans, and South Akim Rural Bank) to design products to meet the special financial needs of Citrus value chain actors in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Provided support to 35 citrus aggregators to automate their operations in order to increase their supply chain as well as enhance the growth of their business enterprises. Designed and facilitated the implementation of appropriate marketing strategies to uplift the image of a financial institution (Asante Akyem Rural Bank) in the Ashanti Region. Facilitated the disbursement of over GH¢160,000 input credit to 24 FBOs made of 418 smallholder Farmers. Contributed in the design of a strategic implementation plan for the Financial Services sector of ACDI/VOCA. Provide technical advice to both Financial Institutions and Farmer Organizations on financial management. Reported regularly to the Financial Services Technical Team of which I was a member. Prepared and presented monthly reports in line with USAID requirements to the Project Coordinator.
