Based in and focused on Central and Eastern Oregon, I help plan and execute grassroots organizing to protect public lands, clean air and water, and wildlife habitat.

Ignite is a design co-op brought together by our commitment to using our Design superpowers to honor and build communities. We’re committed to the communities we serve. We think that good design is a balancing act of aligning the needs of the communities it is impacting, and it's stakeholders. We learn, empathize, and advocate for members of the community who will be affected by our project and intentionally make design choices based on their needs.

Through the Resource Assistance for Rural Environments (RARE) Program at University of Oregon's Institute for Policy Research and Engagement. I am working with the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) assisting with the newly launched Community Navigator Program. In this role, I am helping to develop deeper relationships in Central Oregon to fill a geographic gap for ODOE’s programs and services to equitably reach Central Oregonians and the two federally recognized tribes in Central Oregon; Warm Springs Tribe and Klamath Tribe.

RECIPES: Resilient, Equitable, and Circular Innovations with Partnership and Education Synergies.A National Science Foundation funded sustainable food systems research network. One of the two graduate fellows from MICA assisting with an inter-institution, nationally funded program on a mission to reduce food waste.

Teaching Assistant for Undergraduate and Graduate Level Courses Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

Tasked with engaging the public to cultivate goodwill toward, and active use of, the Atlanta Beltline by engaging the public in innovative and impactful ways and empowering community members to become active participants in the build out of the project in their communities and the city overall. Project focuses include; Adopt-the-Beltline volunteer program, Run.Walk.Go! Race Series, Free Fitness series, educational tours, and occasional public advocacy projects etc.Atlanta BeltLine Partnership (ABP) is a non-profit organization funded entirely through private endeavors. ABP staff members work with neighborhoods, businesses, community and faith organizations, and other groups to raise general awareness, and broad-based support, for the Atlanta BeltLine. ABP raises funds through private and philanthropic sources, and serves as a catalyst to mobilize resources to achieve the positive social impacts of the Atlanta BeltLine vision.
