As a Company Administrator, I report to the Managing Director. My responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies, managing the directors’ agendas as required, making travel arrangements, managing appointments, etc. My duties also include answering the phone and managing the company info email address. I support accounts with general book keeping and filing and perform other clerical work that the company requires on a day to day basis. I am also responsible for employee related paperwork such as engagements, terminations, leave applications etc. Stationery and office maintenance also fall under my responsibility.

As a Research Executive at BLM I provide support on Salaries in Malta, Employee Research and Market Research such as mystery shopping, focus groups and telephone interviews. Working as part of a team I am responsible for seeing to project requirements and objectives, such as attending client meetings, collecting data, analyzing data, writing reports, presenting results and other ad hoc reports as required. I am also currently part of the team developing Esprimi; a new online market research tool that we have recently launched in the local market.

In my role as an Assistant Stage Manager I am generally involved from Pre-production onwards, which include setting up the production team, running production meetings, monitoring production team duties, overseeing the set design & building and managing the day-to-day activities of the production team. My duties also include Preparing rehearsals schedule together with cast & director, running backstage, obtaining & organising props, preparation of running order, stage notes, director’s notes, director’s assistant, keeping cast updated with all changes and developments and other duties that help keep production on track.

I have a very keen eye for detail and together with my passion for the art of filmmaking I qualify as a very hard working and dedicated producer whose input can range from the simplest practical task to logistics and creative. This multifaceted expertise is owed to a 4-year career in Marketing and Advertising with renowned local advertising agency TBWA-ANG as an Account Executive, to my theatre days with Unifaun Theatre Productions as a Stage Manager and to a nurturing 2-year venture with Take 2 Entertainment as a Production Manager.

Logistics is the key factor in my work; I coordinate filming shoots from plotting to delivery. I participate in plotting sessions where we come up with ideas of how to develop the plot of the story, then I take the episode breakdown and schedule it according to actors availability since our actors are part time actors, once the schedule is sorted I work on props, costumes and locations alongside my team. Sometimes I am also present on filming location for coordination on set. Aside this I also take care of the actors's calendar of events and the company's public relations. I also take care of Company PR and business development ideas.

Full Time position at Take 2; the producers of Popular local TV series "L-Evangelisti". My role in the company is to be part of the production team and I do planning and preparation work for productions that are in the pipeline.

Main activities and responsibilities: Planning and execution of marketing campaigns covering all possible marketing actions such as collateral material, print/radio/television adverts, signage, press launches, press releases, etc. My duties also consist of organising and co-ordinating public or private events, script writing, proof reading, creative brainstorming, media planning & monitoring, minute taking and other day-to-day account management duties.Range of Clients: Middlesea Valletta Life, PAVI Supermarket, Banif Bank, Konnekt, Mango, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Zara, Zara Home, GO and other minor accounts such as Zarb Stores and Rokna.

At Unifaun my role of Stage Manager consisted of more than just running the show from backstage it also involved a lot of prep work beforehand as well such as coordinating props & costumes and managing the schedule for the director which included rehearsals, ensuring that the team delivers on all aspects of the show in good time for the play etc.
