Having accumulated key supplies needed by those affected by the fire, I led a team in delivering the emergency relief- The AbM remain in urgent need of computers for their Khayelitsha offices in order to better represent and assimilate the democratic wishes and needs of their direct and wider community.

Fund RaiserStarfish Orphanage Jan 2007 - Apr 2009Hout Bay- Engaging with the children and fundraising on their behalf- Helped in the early stages of this great initiative to move the children from a congregated shack in the middle of the township to a brick building just outside. The brick building needed building and painting- Helped raise start up cash needed and led a drive for toys and other resources locally- It was renamed to Angel Starfish after I helped to make a great idea a reality by securing the start up funds. However we still disagree about who the angel in the title represents. They have continued to grow and strive since my initial involvement.
