Having a great team of professionals to work with through Long and Foster and other key local partnerships is crucial for a transaction to be successful for the client. When we work with a client, we focus on their individual needs and wants and how their unique situation may impact how they are able to move forward. It's all about anticipating what's ahead and preparing my clients for success!I came to real estate just over three years ago after a few awesome careers. I am a life-long University of South Carolina Gamecock fan, where I did my undergrad work, and then began a career in Sports Medicine working with collegiate athletics at The George Washington University in DC. I have always enjoyed a life of daily challenges, and that arena is full of them. After seven years of working in collegiate athletics, culminating as the Associate Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Richmond, I decided it was time to move on to other opportunities and earned my MBA from UR. After that, I worked at an industry trade association, the Virginia Manufacturers Association, for almost 6 years, which again offered a daily set of challenges, as I did every job there from marketing, customer relations, workforce development, event management, and government relations/lobbying, including serving as Vice President and Director of Workforce Training, as well as a consultant for the Virginia Community College System for their Advanced Manufacturers Career Coaching program.
